Top List of Online Work At home Scams to Avoid:

Nigerian Bank Scams - Any email (especially from Nigeria) that tells you they need your help wiring $14,000,000 dollars out of their country, and for helping them do this, you will receive 40%! This is actually a very dangerous scam, and can result in the liquidation of any cash from your bank account if you provide the sender with your account numbers.

Get Rich on Autopilot - There is no such thing as getting rich without any effort...making money online does require a little work!

Envelope Stuffing - Any work at home program that requires you to stuff envelopes and send them to hundreds of other people...most of these offers are real scams in my experience.

Gambling Sites - Stay away from any make money gambling sites (they are illegal in the USA).

Paid Surveys - I have yet to find any paid survey programs that made me any real money. Most require you to sign up for different online programs at your expense and it ends up costing you more than you ever make.

Data Entry - According to many companies, you can earn big dollars by doing simple data entry work for companies at home. All you have to do is type 3 to 4 line sentences then submit the data. The truth is that you will not be doing any data entry work. Right of the bat, they are deceiving you. You have to place and pay for ads that will promote a company's product. You also have to design the ads yourself. You only get paid if someone responds to your ad and buys the product. You're pay is a percentage of the sale. Beware of these data entry work opportunities.

Chain Letters - A chain letter is a "get rich quick" scheme that promises that your mail box will soon be stuffed full of cash if you decide to participate. You're told you can make thousands of dollars every month if you follow the detailed instructions in the letter. There's at least one problem with chain letters. They're illegal if they request money or other items of value and promise a substantial return to the participants.
